Or what about a movie? Maybe you mentioned the cast\, or the plot. But what about church? If you’re like most of us\, you probably don’t know where to start. However\, in our Gospel reading\, we hear about Jesus calling the first disciples\, and promising to make them “fishers of people.” How did Jesus do this for His 1st century followers\, and how does He do the same thing for His 21st century followers? \nPoints to Ponder: \n\nHave you ever gone fishing? How was it similar to the disciples’ methods? How was it different?\nWhat other purposes can people\, including you\, have in life?\nIn fishing for people\, are there any people you would not want to catch?
