DESCRIPTION:Easter Food Drive Campaign 2024\nNow that spring is around the corner the annual Easter Food Drive for the Regen Marketplace Food Bank has begun.\nYour donations can be dropped off before Sunday services on March 10th \,17th and 24th at Emmanuel United Church. \nHow to Donate: \n\nYou can donate either by dropping off food items (see list below) or by giving a financial donation.\nRegen is able to purchase groceries in bulk at discounted costs\, so you may want to consider giving a monetary donation in place of purchasing grocery items yourself. We are calling this the Power of Purchase. The list of food items below purchased at a lower end store would cost you about $85. Regen could use the same $85 to purchase many more items.\nFinancial donations can also be used to support the Food Recovery Program which picks up donations from grocery stores\, bakeries and other food processing businesses. See Outreach presentation board in hall during Sip-N-Talk for more details.\n\nIf you wish to make a financial contribution you can do so by envelope or on-line indicating it is toward Regen Food Drive. \nThe foods most in need at the food bank are: \n\nPasta Sauce\nCan Veggies & Fruits\nHot & Cold Cereal\nCooking Oil\nPancake Batter / Flour & Syrup\nCanned Meat – Tuna\, Salmon\, Ham & Chix\nTea Bags\nPeanut Butter\nJelly\nAdult & Child diapers – All sizes\n\nThank you for helping those in need in our community. Your support is very much appreciated.
