Emmanuel United Church

Welcome to Emmanuel United Church

We are a young-at-heart congregation that is seeking renewal by reflecting the love of Jesus out to our community!

We gather weekly on Sundays for community Worship, however everyone is encouraged to be part of a small group ministry that connects you to others with a similar passion or gift; yoga, music, prayer, men’s and ladies ministries, community outreach, exercise, painting, etc. New groups are springing up all the time where people connect at a deeper level!

Although we worship in a more traditional in style, we love to incorporate drama, dance, and visual arts in our weekly gatherings! Emmanuel enjoys a rich tradition of music and is blessed by the musical gifts of our Organist, choirs and soloists on a regular basis! Lay leadership is encouraged in our worship and it is a wonderful way for youth and elders to steward their time and talents within the life of the congregation!

We admit we are an imperfect community of Jesus’ followers who have not got it all figured out! Yet we gather in trust and hope that God will be present as we work, worship, play, pray, reach out, serve, learn and grow in the likeness of Jesus!

We believe God is up to something. . . Are you in?

Who do I contact with a question?

She will also discuss what's happening in native circles and how we can grow deeper understandings. Please join us and invite neighbours and friends to this special service.

Keith and Marjorie Knill are pulling together a trip to the Holy Land.  The tour will be the familiar places Jesus lived, worked and died.  There is a sign-up sheet outside the office door.  Signing up is not a commitment, just to give us a possible number.  For more details see the Special Events page.
